Daft Punk ja Pharrel Williams menestyivät Grammy-gaalassa - katso voittajat
Musiikkialan arvostettuja Grammy-palkintoja on jaettu vuotuisessa juhlassa Yhdysvalloissa Los Angelesissa. Supertähtiä vilisevä ilta on yksi suurimpia ja arvostetuimpia tapahtumia musiikkimaailmassa. Palkintoja jaettiin nyt 56. kertaa.
Lavalla nähtiin tuttuun tapaan kovia vetoja, joista vastasivat muun muassa Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Lorde, Beyonce,Jay Z ja Madonna.
Illan halutuimman palkinnon vei Daft Punk, joka voitti Grammyn vuoden albumista levyllään Random Access Memories. Kokoonpano voitti Grammyn myös vuoden levytyksestä Get Lucky.
Nuori laulajatar Lorde palkittiin vuoden parhaan kappaleen Grammylla jättihitillään Royals. Hänet palkittiin myös parhaasta pop-sooloesityksestä.
Illan kova voittaja oli myös rap-duo Macklemore ja Ryan Lewis, jotka kahmivat palkintoja. Kaksikko palkittiin vuoden parhaana tulokkaana. Lisäksi duon albumi The Heist nappasi parhaan rap-albumin Grammy-pystin. Macklemore ja Ryan Lewis palkittiin myös parhaasta rap-esityksestä sekä parhaasta rap-kappaleesta Thrift Shop.
